Vintage, studs, leather laces and co. characterise the appearance of the ladies’ shoes in the camel active collection.
Berlin, July 2010 – Playful ankle-strap sandals, ballerinas, moccasins and sneakers are among the types of ladies’ shoes in the camel active footwear spring/summer collection 2011, “Authentic Heritage”. In the upcoming season, it’s all about the feminine interpretation of vintage styles, modern workwear looks and authenticity. And the shoes play an especially important role here since they resolutely round off the new look.
Summery low shoes and boots as well as delicate ballerinas are expressive with their simplistically pure design. Despite hand-worked details such as studs and eyelets, the ladies’ shoes still reflect a sleek elegance. Light-coloured shell and rubber soles create a nice contrast to the outer materials of leather or canvas and are non-slip as well. Laces made of leather or twisted, cord-like yarn appear genuine and natural. All in all: A distinct style that shines with simplicity.

Authentic Heritage camel active footwear is going back to its own roots with strong vintage themes
Berlin, July 2010 – The experience of nature and the expression of true masculinity are the main themes of the upcoming spring/summer collections 2011. And that’s where the lifestyle brand camel active has found its inspiration: Masculine interpretations of vintage and a modern workwear look is camel active’s answer to
the new style. And the shoes play an especially important role here since they resolutely round off the overall appearance.
camel active footwear communicates summer themes through colours and materials: Smooth leather is complemented with crinkled suede that is gentle and authentic to the touch. Old Crazy Horse is revived through the two-tone vintage effects. Buffalo and goat leather appear sporty and new through their coarse grain. Much of the leather and canvas has been washed or rubbed with alcohol to create soft, simple and natural colours: Whether dark brown, mud, brandy, cord, or light shades of grey or off-white – all colours are
subdued and pale. Top that off with bleached denim or royal blue, as well as a washed-out black that almost resembles grey. Additional highlights are created through the contrasting seams.
